Our core 2017 theme was on the topical and needed topic of sex education. We amplified years of activism calling on the Government to adopt compulsory sex education into the curriculum. Four days later, the education Minister Justine Greening did.

A host of LGBT personalities spoke on our panel debates, including:

  • Evan Davis in conversation with Olly Alexander on his experiences growing up gay,

  • Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts hosting a panel on intersectionality with guests such as Jodie Marsh who spoke on her activism work with the Being Me Campaign.

  • Our Let’s Talk About Sex panel calling for LGBT+ inclusive sex ed in UK schools
